March 9th is right around the corner & Ultimate Fighter fans have a great new season in store on FX! The current bantamweight champ, Dominick Cruz, & the top contender, Urijah Faber, will be battling out their rivalry weekly as they step up to coach this seasons contestants. Faber is excited to coach opposite his rival & is ready to rematch for a chance to claim the title. During Cruz’s bout against Demetrious Johnson, he sustained a hand injury that put him out until around the start of TUF new season. With a title on the line for the coaches & a six figure UFC contract as a prize for the contestants, emotions will undoubtedly run high this season! In this inaugural season of TUF on FX, the format will feature a pre-recorded training week concluding in a live fight each Friday night. In one month we’ll be back at the Ultimate Fighter gym, meeting team members, watching training sessions, hearing coaches heckle each other, & watching live fights- I’m ready for it all to begin!
